Exciting! I was just approved by Villanova’s College of Liberal Arts & Sciences to hire a MSEPF. This postdoctoral fellow position will start in August 2019 and continue for 2 years, renewable for a 3rd.
I’ll be advertising soon for candidates who can contribute to our research on behavioral aspects of chickadee hybridization—ideally by joining our current efforts focusing on cognitive ecology and personality—or, possibly, to our field studies of the evolutionary ecology of herbivory by the unique ant-acacia jumping spider, Bagheera kiplingi.
The MSEPF will assist me in developing and teaching a new course for non-science majors focusing on family trees, genealogy, and human heredity. I hope that the MSEPF will also participate in our Tropical Ecology offering. The fellow will also have opportunities to teach Behavioral Ecology and to develop courses in their own area(s) of specialization.
