Plans are shaping up for the next offering of Bio 4451/2 and Bio 8940/1 … including a 2-week field trip in January 2018 to Costa Rica. The course will introduce students to biodiversity throughout the country (Pacific and Caribbean lowland rainforest; mountain forests; Pacific dry forests) and train students in making natural history observations and conducting field research.

Interested students should contact Dr. Curry ASAP to introduce yourself, because space in the class will be limited … and all students will need to register soon for the F17 lecture course that’s a prerequisite for the field trip and S18 lab course.
